We are all God. We are all gods. Consciousness is the seed of God; the "I" is hard won, but once perceived, cannot be lost -- and you already have it. The greatest gift of a human life is our acute perception of the I, and our ability to know it, to recognize it, and utilize it. The "I" cannot be created; only perceived. However, the "I" can be expanded. The "I" can be developed. The "I" will, eventually, become greater than what is outside of itself, and learn to contain everything else inside of it.
You are, first and foremost, your consciousness -- and your consciousness contains everything.

The Importance of Perception
It is not so important what God is, but how one views God. There is no cultural or religious truth that will ever equate the sum of what God is and can be. That is purely up to oneself and one's own perception.
One's own truth is only limited by one's view of the world. We must change our view of the world to bring us into alignment with God. What we perceive becomes what we are. We must create ourselves to perceive beauty and perfection in all things, true or transient, permanent or fleeting. This is why living in a changing reality is so important -- it allows us to change and progress ourselves, and learn to maintain an internal balance that, in the end, is permanent and unchanging. Through change, we learn permanence. Permanence, in this sense, is experienced as Love -- Love of this quality can be defined as the ability to see equality in all things, and not be swayed by our own perceptions of good and bad, desirable and undesirable, perfect and flawed. Eastern religions often refer to this as "detachment." Pure, perfect Love is permanent and unchanging.
To achieve a union with God is to attain this Love and permanence; to see beauty in all things, experience Heaven no matter where one goes, and ultimately manifest one's own will upon the world. One no longer thinks in terms of "I," but in terms of "Us." In fact, one no longer needs to think about it. One experiences this truth as naturally as one experiences hunger or happiness. One simply is.
Once one knows God in the heart, one can finally see the connections in everything, and what begins as a seed shall bloom and grow into a lush garden of consciousness and ever progressing awareness. Once one has a connection to God, one is free to learn directly from God, purely by observing the world. One becomes passive and progresses through life with a sense of detachment, allowing the greater Consciousness to lead wherever it may. You must trust me when I tell you that it only works to your benefit. Remember, you are Loved.
We are individual, eternal manifestations of God.
